New Log-in for Club Members

At Doncaster Bridge Club we are always seeking to improve and develop the facilities available
to our members. As part of these efforts it has been decided to create a ‘members only’ area
within the website.

To access the facilities available in the members only area, users will need to log-in using their
e-mail address and a password. Once logged-in members will have access to.....

    •  the telephone and e-mail details of other members of the club who have opted
        to provide such details;

     •  the contact details of those members who have opted to provide this information
        for the purpose of inviting others to partner them for a game or games.
        Such information will include the days and times when that person is most likely
        to be available for bridge;

    •  the facility to have regular e-mailings to remind members of upcoming events or
        important dates/deadlines such as AGM date and subscription due dates;

    •  the use of a ‘blog’ where members can place their comments and/or become involved
         in discussions between members;

    •  a members only “Players’ Writes” section (i.e. Bridge articles written by members
         but not placed in the existing “Players’ Writes” area - which will remain in the
         website’s public area);

    •  polls and ‘customer satisfaction’ surveys which can be initiated on any number of
       bridge and club related matters;


In order that this facility remains as a members only area it will be necessary for new
registrations to have their member status verified against club records before being allowed access.
To this end, please complete and submit the form below before completing the “Sign up” procedure.
Once your status is verified you will be allowed access to the members only area.

Be assured that unless specifically authorised by the owner of the username (e-mail address), the
address will not be used for any purpose other than for verification of a person’s eligibility to
access the members’ area. (Authorisation will be sought from within the members’ area).

Remember, completing registration through the
“Sign up” opposite in no way commits you to
providing your e-mail address and/or contact
details to third parties.

The Sign up process requires that you activate
your ‘account’ by responding to an activation
e-mail. This is in addition to completing the club
membership verification form above.
